THE ANNUAL MEETING BETWEEN
FOREIGN RELIGIOUS SISTERS AND BROTHERS
AND THE DUTCH FELLOW SISTERS AND BROTHERS

A long the way we want to become sisters to one another and to commit ourselves to a new society in which human beings will be recognized as sisters and brothers. To encourage the uniqueness of each person and to build one another up. To open ourselves to the culture and religious and to let ourselves be enriched by them.

In our differences, we are invited to create a new society, in which we grow and live as sisters and brothers to one another. Hope, through this site we can share more the God's gift in each to others. In that way we can show the goodness of God as our calling of our mission and live. Therefore, the KRL meeting gives us opportunity to enrich and exchange our experiences, thoughts, our vision and mission as well as our journey life in recognizing the God's goodness to others wherever we are sent for realising our service and mission.

Gesprek tussen de lucifer en de kaars De dag kwam dat de lucifer tot de kaars zei: ‘Ik heb opdracht je aan te steken.’ ‘O nee, doe dat alsjeblieft niet,’schrok de kaars, ‘als ik brand zijn mijn dagen geteld en niemand kan mijn schoonheid meer bewonderen.’ De lucifer vroeg : “maar wil je dan je hele levenlang koud en hard blijven, zonder echt geleefd te hebben?” ‘Maar branden doet pijn en verteert mijn krachten,’ fluisterde de kaars onzeker en vol angst. ‘Dat is waar,’antwoordde de lucifer, ‘maar dat is toch het geheim van onze roeping? Jij en ik, we zijn geroepen licht te zijn. Wat ik als lucifer kan doen is weinig. Steek ik je echter niet aan, dan mis ik de zin van mijn leven. Ik ben ervoor om vuur te onsteken. Jij bent een kaars, je bent ervoor om licht en warmte te verspreiden. Alles wat je aan smart, leed en kracht geeft, wordt veranderd in licht. Je gaat niet verloren als je je geeft, je laat verteren. Anderen als je weigert zul je sterven…’ Toen boog de kaars het hoofd en sprak: ‘Ik bid u, steek me aan.’

I tried to find information whether in other countries have the same international meeting as ‘KRL meeting’. But up till now, I have not got this information yet. I already contact some friends in Belgium, USA, Rome and Africa. But they do not have this kind of meeting.

It would be a great information for KRL in The Netherlands.
